How can senior citizens get admission for health insurance to get health insurance

Ayushman Bharat Prime Minister Jan Air Yojana provides free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh a year for senior citizens over the age of 70 years, regardless of the insecure departments of the Society and their income. Here is how to enroll.

Download the app
Senior citizens or their family members can download the Ayushman India app from Google Play Store or official website. The user can then choose the desired language to proceed.

Log in for enrollment
It is important to click the option of login as a beneficiary by entering ‘CAPTCHA’ and mobile numbers. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number. After logging in, go to the bottom of the home screen for the enrollment of senior citizens.

Enter the Aadhaar number and certify it using the OTP sent to the registered mobile number. Then, enter the position of the residence. After entering the ‘CAPTCHA’, the search option is activated which will check whether the senior citizen is already registered in the plan. If not, senior citizens need to apply for new enrollment. Another round of OTP verification will be carried out, after which the application will motivate the senior citizens to click on their live photo for verification.Provide details
Then the senior citizen needs to input the mobile number such as OTP verification, city, state, address, ward details, zip code, etc.

Submit the application
Once all the details are entered, the user can submit the application for approval. Once approved, the Islam card is issued to the beneficiary who can later take advantage of the benefits of the scheme.
